Ghalib ki haveli k Darshan

First of all, a big congratulations to myself because my blog has crossed 5000 views and m very happy and a Big Thanks to you guys, Never thought of this and that too in less than a year. Thank You guys for being a part of my realistic journey.

So, now coming back to today's blog, today we are gonna talk about Ghalib and his haveli in Ballimaran, Chandni Chowk in Delhi India ( earlier it was known as Gali Qasim Jaan).

So, if anyone of you don't know about Ghalib then let me tell you, he is one of the well known Urdu and Persian Poet during the Mughal Empire. He is so famous that even today his poetry and ghazals are being used by youth and is quite famous and it is sung by famous singers Rahat Fateh Ali khan, Jagjit Singh, Tina Soni, Mohammad Rafi, Asha Bhosle,Ghulam Ali, Lata Mangeshkar and many more.

If I talk about myself then i'll say i am his biggest fan and i just love the way he used words in his poetry and ghazals. Though, sometimes it just goes out of my head because of difficult words but yes after knowing its meaning or reading it twice or thrice, i feel how deep his words are.

I have read his many books like Celebrating the Best of Urdu Poetry and guys trust me it is one of the best books by Khushwant Singh on Mirza Ghalib's Poetry and there are many more books on his life. But my favourite was by khushwant Singh.

Here are some famous Shayari's just to give you a little introduction

  • Koi ummeed bar nahi aati, koi soorat nazar nahi aati
  • ‘Ghalib’ bura na maan jo vaaiz bura kahe, aisa bhi koi hai ki sab achchha kahen jise
  • Jab ki tujh bin nahi koi maujood, fir ye hangama ai khuda kya hai
  • Tum jaano tum ko gair se jo rasm-o-raah ho,mujh ko bhi poochhte raho to kya gunaah ho
  • Thee khabar garm ki ‘Ghalib’ ke udenge purje, dekhne ham bhi gaye the pa tamasha na hua

Okay, so these are just five but trust me there are many more and reading them is one of the best thing i have ever done in my life. His ghazals and poetry makes you feel each and every emotion so beautifully. Even after reading you will get to know how beautiful is your broken heart and this broken feeling is the only thing that makes you feel alive. His Shayari on love and life is the best.

Many famous ghazals used by bollywood like

  • Dil e Nadaan by Chitra Singh and Jagjit Singh
  • Phir kuch ek dil ko by Jagjit Singh
  • Yeh na thi hamari by Chitra Singh
  • Dil se Teri Nigah by Rahat Fateh Ali khan
So, when i went to his haveli in Ballimaran , it was very difficult to locate his haveli because ballimaran area is quite congested and it is in street so my google map was not even showing me any right direction. Me and my friend were asking from locals to get there. And finally after 20 mins we reached there and the haveli looks like this

And in Right Side you will see his bust and dummy of their clothes.

And in the left side is his main area

And the best part of the haveli is that you will see his shayari everywhere and it still gives us mughal days feeling.

The old essence of ghalib and his wife Umrao Begum has been remained the way it is. It is believed that he stayed in his haveli for a very long time after coming from Agra.

You will see his diwan preserved in a glass and his geneology and various things related to him including his couplets and visual projection of him in his haveli and his pastime.

I'll suggest you to go there atleast once in your life if you are the fan of history and reading poetry, ghazals and Shayaris.

And one thing more Ballimaran is a Bangle market so don't even forget to buy bangles set for yourself, like me and my friend purchased.

I love bangles and how is it even possible that i'll not buy it from one of the famous market. I just loved it. So guys, go there and do enjoy.

Siddhartha was born in Northern Central India, in 567 B.C. He was born into the Kshatriya Caste. His Birth was preceded by a series of vision seen by his mother and prophecies made to his father. The Prophecies made to his father that he wouldn't be a Maharaj but a religious leader. Many people know his story, if you don't know then let me introduce you. When he was born his father shielded his from the realities of the world. Something unusual happened at his birth was when a elephant , which touched his mother's side with a lotus, impregnated her. He grew up in Luxury and married to princess yashodhara , daughter of neighboring Maharaj. They had a son & they named him Rahulah. His father securely protected him from the anything unpleasant in the world. Siddhartha began trips to a nearby city & for the first time he saw the reality of life. Three things Siddhartha and that disturbed him was an old lady bent over with age , a man whose body was ravaged with

Adolf Hitler - the cruel teacher

Today, my blog will be all about Adolf Hitler. I was reading some books on hitler and it is difficult to know his political ideology. Because at one time you just hate him but at the other when you get to know what was he thinking you just want to accept him. No doubt he was the best leader for nazis but after reading so many books on him i realised he also knows how bad he was to jews and he was loosing humanity and he committed suicide. A little introduction of hitler's life and his famous quotes. Adolf Hitler was born on 20 April 1889 in Braunau-am-Inn on the Austrian-German border. Hitler left school at 16 with no qualifications and struggled to make a living as a painter in Vienna. This was where many of his extreme political and racial ideas originated. In 1919, he joined the fascist German Workers' Party (DAP). By 1921 he was the unquestioned leader of what was now the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP or Nazi Party). In 1923, Hitler attempted
