Inspiration from "Buddha"

Siddhartha was born in Northern Central India, in 567 B.C. He was born into the Kshatriya Caste. His Birth was preceded by a series of vision seen by his mother and prophecies made to his father. The Prophecies made to his father that he wouldn't be a Maharaj but a religious leader.

Many people know his story, if you don't know then let me introduce you.

When he was born his father shielded his from the realities of the world. Something unusual happened at his birth was when a elephant , which touched his mother's side with a lotus, impregnated her.
He grew up in Luxury and married to princess yashodhara , daughter of neighboring Maharaj. They had a son & they named him Rahulah. His father securely protected him from the anything unpleasant in the world.

Siddhartha began trips to a nearby city & for the first time he saw the reality of life. Three things Siddhartha and that disturbed him was an old lady bent over with age , a man whose body was ravaged with leprosy and a funeral cart carrying a dead body. Siddhartha couldn't get the meaning of life question "Why do people suffer?" He spent many hours a day trying to find the answer in the Vedas but face miserably.

In this way, he was about to give up when he decided to meditate under a tree for as long as it would take for him to enlightened. He spent forty nine days & forty nine nights meditating , on the fiftieth day he awoke enlightened. He was now known as Buddha the Enlightened one.

And this was the beginning of a new religion. He wanted to share his insight with everyone and then he died when he was more than eighty years old of food poisoning.

Buddha was everything and I truly follow him. I know many people do feel the same for him. In any doubt, I prefer to read books about Buddha & his quotes.

Some of his famous quotes to inspire you guys, tell me which one is your favorite :-

What we think, we become.

You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.

Three things cannot be long hidden : The Sun, The Moon & The Truth.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast, a wild beast will wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind.

The tongue like a sharp knife, kills without drawing blood.

There are only two mistakes one can learn along the road to truth, not going all the way, and not starting.

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else, you are the one who gets burned.

We are shaped by our thoughts, we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.

Health is the greatest gift of god, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness the best relationship.

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you , not by angels or demons, heaven or hell.

However many holy words you read, however many you speak, what good they will do if you do not act upon them?

In the sky, there is no distinction of east & west, people create distinctions out of their own minds, and then believe them to be true.

I never see what has been done, I only see what remains to be done.

There is nothing more dreadful than the habit of doubt. Doubt separates people. It is a poison that disintegrates friendships and breaks up pleasant relations. It is a thorn that irritates and hurts, it is a sword that kills.

Just a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.

Thousands of candle can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.

A jug fills drop by drop.

Without health life is not life, it is only a state of languor and suffering- an image of death.

It is better to travel well than to arrive.

He who loves 50 people has 50 woes, he who loves no one has no woes.

Peace comes within. Do not seek it without.

Whatever words we utter should be chosen with care for people will hear them & be influenced by them for good or ill.

The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart.

Hatred does not cease through hatred at any time. Hatred ceases through love. This is an unalterable law.

You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love & infection.

Do not overrate what you have received, nor envy others. He who envies others does not obtain peace of mind.

These quotes are very special to me. What i feel is meditation gives all the answers of your unsolved  questions.

Meditation and Buddha has helped me a lot & I hope these quotes will motivate you too.

Adolf Hitler - the cruel teacher

Today, my blog will be all about Adolf Hitler. I was reading some books on hitler and it is difficult to know his political ideology. Because at one time you just hate him but at the other when you get to know what was he thinking you just want to accept him. No doubt he was the best leader for nazis but after reading so many books on him i realised he also knows how bad he was to jews and he was loosing humanity and he committed suicide. A little introduction of hitler's life and his famous quotes. Adolf Hitler was born on 20 April 1889 in Braunau-am-Inn on the Austrian-German border. Hitler left school at 16 with no qualifications and struggled to make a living as a painter in Vienna. This was where many of his extreme political and racial ideas originated.
